• The first edition of Last Days of the Arctic, published in 2010, won critical acclaim worldwide and quickly sold out. A documentary of the same name, co-produced by bbc4, arte, and several other international partners, was broadcast in more than 30 countries. Now this body of work, praised as something of a modern classic, appears in a new edition including previously unpublished material and extra information on the photographs. The Arctic is warming faster than any other region on earth. This rapid climate change has had a devastating effect on the regionþs ecology and, consequently, on the Inuit peoples who depend on the Arctic ice for their livelihood and culture.
