  • The 5th KYOTO SUMMER INSTITUTE called the "KSI '82" - Microscopic Theories of Nuclear Collective Motions - was held at Research Institute for Fundamental Physics and Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Kyoto University, from July 12 to 16, 1982. It was devoted to recent developments of microscopic theories for collective states of transitional nuclei and giant resonance states, covering topics such as algebraic approach, boson-fermion expansion, mode-mode coupling theory, nuclear field theory, nuclear response theory, sum rule approach, TDHF and its extension etc.
